Primarily found in Nova Scotia, Canada, howlite is the result of the evaporation of a mix of water and volcanic ash. This mineral is named posthumously after Henry How, the first geologist to discover the mineral in 1868. Howlite is known for reducing anxiety and developing memories. It is especially well suited for those recovering from trauma, depression, or PTSD.
