A rare variety of rose quartz, blue rose quartz is a quartz stone with a range of pink to blue hues. The blue is often due to inclusions of dumortierite or sodalite in the quartz. This material is most often found in Madagascar, but has also been located in Brazil, Nambia, South Africa, and the USA.
